Senior People Operations Manager

Your mission

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior People Operations Manager to support the development and execution of People processes across our international Group. This role focuses particularly on ensuring operational excellence in Lithuania, while working in close collaboration with the global People Operations team, and being able to step in and provide support or coverage when needed.

You will play a key role in maintaining compliant and efficient HR operations in a regulated fintech environment, supporting the employee lifecycle, managing HR systems, leading local office operations, and helping prepare for audits. This position requires someone detail-oriented, hands-on, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of international HR practices and a collaborative mindset.
In this role, you will:
People Operations & Compliance
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
  • Own and execute onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless and compliant experience for all team members.
  • Administer and maintain our HRIS system (Personio), ensuring accurate, confidential, and legally compliant employee data and supporting analytics/reporting needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies. 
  • Update and enforce internal policies, procedures, and handbooks to reflect best practices and legal standards.
Payroll & HR Administration
  • Lead and coordinate payroll processes in partnership with finance and our external provider, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery.
  • Draft, update, and manage employment contracts and other relevant HR documents.
  • Maintain and organize all administrative HR records and documentation in alignment with audit and data retention requirements.
Employee Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for HR Operations-related questions and employee support across locations, ensuring clarity, consistency, and care.
  • Proactively identify and address employee or process-related issues, escalating when needed.
Office Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related matters in the Lithuanian location.
  • Oversee all aspects of office operations, including supplies, logistics, employee access, safety, and facility coordination.
What you need to be successful:
  • 4–6 years of experience in People Operations or HR, ideally in a fast-paced, international, and remote-first startup or scale-up environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian labor law; knowledge of German labor law is a strong advantage.
  • A people-first mindset with strong emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for supporting employee growth and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration and ownership alike.
  • Fluency in English; Knowledge in German is a plus
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems—Personio experience is a strong plus.
