Your mission

As the PMO Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping Finoa’s project execution strategy, ensuring that our project portfolio is delivered with precision, efficiency, and full alignment with regulatory and strategic goals. Partnering with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll establish best-in-class project standards, foster delivery excellence, and oversee governance processes in a highly regulated yet innovative environment.

In this role, you will:

Establish and manage project management framework, methodologies, and best practices tailored to our regulated environment.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Act as the key point of contact for project governance, reporting, and performance monitoring across the organization.
Partner with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained throughout all initiatives, by partnering with Risk Controlling and the key stakeholders.
Maintain a comprehensive view of the project portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment and efficient resource utilization.
Support project managers and team members by providing guidance on processes, tools, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in project execution.

What you need to be successful:

Extensive experience in project management or PMO roles within regulated industries, such as financial services, or fintech.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in the financial sector.
Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite).
Exceptional ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are a plus.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is an advantage.
